WILSON. Oct. 8.-The marriage
of Miss Eleanor Krischan, daughter
Mrs. Emil F. Krischan. to Cecil
Ervin Upton, of Niagara Falls, N.
Y.; son of Mr. and Mrs. George Upton,
of Wilson. N. Y.. was solemnized
on Saturday evening. October 2,
at 7 o'clock in St. Andrew's Evan-
gelical church, the Rev. Paul C.
Engelbert officiating. Ward Henry
sand "Oh Perfect Love," accom-
panied at the organ by the Rev.
Luther Shimber.
The bride, who was given in mar-
riage by her brother, Charles Kris-
chan, wore a gown of white cut
velvet, fashioned with a train. Her
veil of illusion fell from a halo of
orange blossoms and she carried a
spray of white chrysanthemums.
Mrs. Rudolph F. Kromke, sister of
the bride, was matron of honor. She
wore a gown of rose-heather taf-
fetta and a silver halo. Her spray
of yellow chrysanthemums was tied
with a gold ribbon.
The bridesmaids. Mrs. Edward F.
Krischan. Mrs. Burton Brant. Miss
Elsie Litke and Miss Martha Bargmann.
were gowned alike in aquamarine
taffetta. fashioned with
Eton jackets. They carried sprays
of mixed autumn flowers and also
wore silver halos.
Miss Arline Rella Krischan. niece
of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.
She wore a long dress of
peach colored taffetta and a wreath
of flowers in her hair. She carried
a colonial bouquet.
Elwln Upton, of Rochester, was
his brother's best man and the ushers
were Arthur O. Krischan. Maurice
Upton, Lawrence Upton and
Clifford Upton.
Mrs. Krischan. mother of the
bride, wore navy blue crepe. Mrs.
Upton, mother of the groom, wore
dark brown crepe. Both wore corsages
of roses and sweet peas.
A reception for 85 guests followed
the ceremony in the home of
the bride's sister. Mrs. George
Schaefer. 127 W. Northnip place.
The bride's table, with covers laid
for 24. was centered with a wedding
cake.
After the reception. Mr. and Mrs.
Upton left for a short trip, after
which they will be at home in 23
