Miss Arlene Winker, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winker, Sixtysecond
street, recently became the
bride of Mr. Salvatore Mangione.
son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mangione.
Nineteenth street, at St. John
de LaSalle church. The Rev. Bernard
Sexton celebrated the Nuptial
high mass following the doublering
ceremony at which he officiated.
The bride, given In marriage by
her father, wore a gown of white
.slipper satin, fashioned with a
neckline of seeded pearls. Her fingertip
veil of Chantllly lace was
held In place with a crown of seed-
ed pearls. She carried a prayer
book topped with orchids.
Miss Patricia Castile was the
maid of honor. Her bridesmaids
were Miss Noreen Young and Miss
Joyce Hindle.
The best man was Mr. Harold
Carson and Messrs. Joseph Man-
gione and Gus Mangione, brothers
of the bridegroom, were ushers.
A wedding breakfast was served
at the bride's home, followed by a
dinner at 2 p.m. for more than 75
guests at the Prospect house.
A reception was held at the Prospect
house.
For traveling, the bride chose a
taupe suit with navy blue accessories.
She wore an orchid corsage.
After a wedding trip to New York-
City and Virginia the couple will
reside in Sixty-second street.
