MIDDLEPORT, July 13.-The
marriage of Miss Doris Shepard,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude
Shepard, of Medina, to Robert J.
Hartwick, also of that place, was
solemnized at 11 o'clock Satur-
day in St. Mary's rectory, Medina.
The Rev. James Hogan performed
the ceremony.
The bride was gowned in white
marquisette over white satin and
a shoulder-length veil caught with
pearl halo. She wore a mother of
pearl cross, a gift of the groom.
Her colonial bouquet was of white
roses, gypsophilia and white glad-
ioli, showered with white ribbon.
Miss Vivian Shepard, sister of
the bride, was her only attendant.
She wore yellow chiffon with small
hat to match and carried a colon-
ial bouquet of yellow roses and
lavender sweetpeas.
John Hartwick, brother of the
groom, acted as best man.
The bride's mother wore rose lace
with white accessories and a cor-
sage of yellow roses. The groom's
mother wore blue lace with white
accessories and corsage of pink
roses.
Following the ceremony, a dinner
was served at Maple Brook Man-
or. Ridgewood, the decorations be-
ing pink and white rosebuds. The
bride's table was centered with a
tiered wedding cake trimmed with
a miniature bride and groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Hartwick left for
a short trip to Washington and
other points of interest. The bride
traveled in a maroon and white
check dress with white accessories.
Upon their return, they will be at
home to their friends at 158 Shelter
street, Rochester.
The bride is a graduate of Mid-
dleport high school and Brock-
port Normal, where she was a mem-
ber of the alpha Kappa Phi sor-
ority.
