WILSON-Before an altar flanked with
white gladioli and chrysanthemums. Miss Carol
Ann Woodcock.became the bride of Gene Duane
Hawkins.
The Rev. Clarence Elliott performed a 4 p.m.
double-ring ceremony on Saturday (July 9, 1960),
at St; Paul's Lutheran Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Willard Woodcock, Newfane. Mrs. Clarence I,
Davis, Young St., is the bridegroom's mother.
The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr. Jean
Hawkins.

THE FORMER Miss Woodcock chose a floorlength
gown of white, styled with a fitted basque
bodice and short cap sleeves of Chantilly lace.
A circlet neckline was adorned with irridescent
sequins and seed'pearls.
Similarly enhanced motifs of lace were
appliqued on the skirt, which continued to a
chapel-length train. A lace capote with a flat
bow held the bride's fingertip veil of silk illusion,
and she carried a crescent-shaped bouquet of
pink roses and white carnations.
Mrs. John McCormick was her sister's matron
of honor, attired in a day-length gown of
powder, blue nylon chiffon. A matching horsehair
picmre hat graced by a wreath of flowers
complemented'her ensemble, and she carried a
bouquet of pink carnations.
The bridesmaids, Mrs. Martin Kroening and
Miss Judy Hawkins, the., bridegroom's sister,
were attired similarly to Mrs. McCormick in
petal pink. Each carried a bouquet of blue
carnations. . .
George McCollum was best man, and Wayne
Wilson and Jarold Saunderson seated the guests.

A RECEPTION followed at the American
Legion Hail, Lockport
For the, reception, the bride's mother chose
a powder blue silk organxa over taffeta ensemble,
white accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
° The newlyweds left for a honeymoon in the
Adirondack Mountains.
