Miss Rita C. Freck, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Freck of
823 Nash road became the bride
of Robert Ziehm, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Rudolph Ziehm of 21 Allen
street in a ceremony performed
Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock
in the home of the bride's par-
ents, the Rev. Carl A. Franken-
stein officiating.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
gown of pink faille taffeta, hav-
ing a shirred bodice, sweetheart
neckline, and blue velvet bow
trimmings. She wook her vows be-
fore an altar decorated with palms,
baskets of flowers and tall white
tapers. Her bouquet was of pink
and white pom pons tied with
blue ribbon.
Miss Mary Dent was the bride's
only attendant, and wore a gown
of turquoise blue made similar in
style ot the bride's and trimmed
with maroon velvet bows. Her
bouquet was of rust and yellow
pompons tied with rust ribbon.
Raymond Perschke, cousin of the
groom, acted as best man.
A dinner for twenty guests fol-
lowed the ceremony, covers being
laid for eight at the bride's table
which was centered with a large
wedding cake adorned with a
miniature bride and groom and
having tall candles on either side,
the house was decorated with pink
and white streamers and baskets
of flowers. In the evening a re-
ception was held for fifty guests.
The bride's mother, Mrs. Freck,
wore plum colored velvet, Mrs.
Ziehm, mother of the groom,
chose black crepe and the groom's
grandmother, Mrs. Swanson, was
attired in taupe crepe. Each
wore a corsage of pompons tied
with gold ribbon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ziehm will be at
home in 164 Fletch street after
October 20.
