The marriage of Miss Myra G.
Strong, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George F. Strong, 391 Stanley St.,
to Mr. Donald W. Zuch, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Zuch, 1521
Kingston Ave., was solemnized at
8 p.m. July 8 in North Presbyterian
Church.
The late Rev. Harry Somers
performed the double-ring ceremony.
Lighted candelabra flanked
with palms and vases of white
flowers decorated the church.
Preceding the ceremony, Mr.
Gordon Felton accompanied Mr.
Melvin Alexheimer, cousin of the
bridegroom, in a solo, "Because."
During the ceremony, he
sang "The Lord's Prayer.' ,
White Rose Bouquet
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a gown
fashioned in misty chiffon with
a portrait neckline and a bertha
collar edged with fine lace and
pointed sleeves. The basque
bodice was draped with a bouffant
skirt, cascading a double
flouncing that folded over the
edged with fine lace.
Her bridal veil, was a twotiered
scalloped illusion caught
with a sweetheart lace halo which
had side clusters of lilies-of-thevalley
and organza blossoms.
She carried a shower bouquet of
white roses, carnations and babybreath.
Miss Oral Strong, maid-ofhonor
and sister of the bride,
wore a gown of crisp white eyelet
organdy, combined with plain
organdy over pastel maize. She
wore a picture hat and carried a
bouquet of talisman roses.
2 Bridesmaids
The bridesmaids, attired as the
maid-of-honor. were Miss Delores
Vansice in a pastel shade of orchid
and carrying a bouquet of
yellow roses, and Miss Marilyn
Zuch in a pastel shade of aquamarine
and carrying a bouquet
of pink roses.
The flower girl, Miss Kathleen
Zuch, cousin of the bridegroom,
wore a yellow organdy gown and
carried a basket of rose petals
which she sprinkled
walked down the aisle.
Edwin Zuch attended
brother as best man and
ushers were Reuel Movis
Robert Buchhardt.
Mrs. Strong, mother of
bride, wore a navy blue sheer
dress with white accessories. The
bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Zuch,
chose a navy blue and white print
dress with navy and white accessories.
Each wore corsages of a
Chinese lily encircled by pink
roses and baby-breath.
158 at Reception
The reception was held at 8
p.m. in the Bergholtz Community
Hall with 150 guests attending.
Guests were present from Rochester,
Kenmore, Toronto, St.
Thomas, Listowel and Harriston,
Ont.
For her wedding trip through
the New England states, the
bride wore a light pink Summer
suit with white accessories and
a corsage of white carnations
Showers for the bride were
given by Miss Oral Strong, Mrs.
Gerhard Zuch, Miss Delores Vansice
and Mrs. Edwin Zuch.
