LYNDONVILLE, June 30 — The
marriage of Miss Olive E. Sherman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
Sherman, Medina, to George W. Bane,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bane,
Lyndonville, was solemnized Saturday
afternoon at 4 o'clock by the Rev.
R. H. Peele, a former pastor, at his
home at. Somerset, In the presence of
the immediate relatives.
The bride was lovely In a gown of
white satin and lace with bandeau
and veil and carried white roses and
sweet peas. The bridesmaid, Mlss Carolyn
Sherman, sister of the bride, her
only attendant, wore a gown of pink
teffeta with pink accessories. Paul
Banc, brother of the groom, was best
man.
Following the ceremony a 8 o'clock
course dinner was served at Falrvlew
Manor to 20 guests. Later a reception
was held at the home of the bride's
parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Bane left for an extended
motor trip through the New
England states. Upon their return
they will be at home at 160 Maple
avenue, this village.
Prenuptlal affairs were a green and
ivory kitchen shower given by Mlss
Dorothy Sherman, sister of the bride,
and a variety shower by Miss Edna
Munzell, of Lyndonville, at which the
bride received many beautiful and
useful gifts.
