MISS RITA ANN GILBERT became the- bride of
Francis William Argy, Saturday, (June 4,1966) at Our
Lady of the Rosary Church.
Very Rev. Msgr. J. Stanly Ormsby performed the
double-ring ceermony uniting in marriage the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Gilbert, 2756 Welch
Ave., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Argy, Parkway
Apartmetns, 151 Buffalo Ave.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. She wore
a gown of white organza and
Venice lace styled w i t h a
scoop neckline, and lace
bands on the e l b ow length
sleeves, and around the waist-.
The controlled full skirt ended
in a chapel length train. A
matching pillbox secured her
bouffant veil of silk illusion
and the bride carried a bouquet
of cascading white roses.

MISS ELIZABETH ANN
GRABOWSKI, cousin of the
bride, was maid of honor. She
wore a Tahiti c o r a l crepe
floor length gown with batteau
neckline, high-rise fitted
bodice and e l b ow length
sleeves. The modified sheath
skirt was accented with a
Watteau ,panel. A cluster of
petals held her bouffant veil,
and she carried a bouquet of
white and coral roses.
°Miss Marilyn Majchrzak,
cousin of the bride, similarly
attired, was bridesmaid. Miss
Raeanne M. Argy, niece of
the bridegroom, was flowergirl.

RAYMOND DETERS was
best man to Mr. Argy. Ronald
Gilbert, brother of the bride,
and brothers of t h e bridegroom,
Michael Argy and Joseph
Argy, were ushers, and
Michael Gilbert, nephew of
the bride, was ringbearer.
A wedding breakfast was
served after the ceremony. An
evening reception was held
at the Moose Lodge, 823 Niagara
St.
The mother of the b r i de
wore a beige lace over blue
taffeta d r e s s . The bridegroom's
mother wore a twopiece
green lace dress.
A f t e r a wedding trip to
California the couple will live
at 3567 Chapin Ave.
