THE MARRIAGE of Miss Patricia C.
Skimin and John P. Touchette was solemnized-
°Saturday (Aug. 17, 1968) at 11 a.m. in Sacred
Heart Church.
The Rev. George B. Yiengst officiated at
the double-ring ceremony uniting the daughter
of.Edmond J,'Skimin, 1825 North Ave., and
the late Mrs. Julia Skimin, and the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Touchette, 1351 North
Ave.
The bride presented a bouquet of blue
and white carnations to the altar of the Blessed
Mother. ' .

THE BRIDE was given in marriage by.
her uncle, John M. Jacobs. She wore a floorlength
gown of gardenia white silk organza
styled with scoop neckline, empire waist and
elbow-length sleeves. Chantilly lace trimmed
the bodice and the A-line skirt which extended
into a chapel train. A Dior bow of peau
de soie held her bouffant, four-tiered* veil.
She carried a cascade of white carnations,
stephanotis and ivy.
Mrs. Edward C; Eagan, sister of the bride,
was matron of honor. Miss Mary Frances
Cooper. New York City, and Miss Annette
Chirigoni were bridesmaids. The attendants
were similarly attired in avocado, green karate
with venise lace trim at the bodice. Their
flowers were white daisies and chrysanthemum
leaves.

THE BEST MAN was William P. Touchette,
brother of the bridegroom. Guests were
seated by Edmond J. Skimin, brother of the
bride, of I.orain, Ohio, and Lauren Beaver.
An afternoon reception was held at the
Linwood Avenue home of the bride and her
aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs.
The couple will reside in Hyde Park
Boulevard.
