BETROTHAL ANNOUNCED-Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
G. Andres, North Ave., announce the engagement
of their daughter, Miss Marjean Elaine Andres to
Manfred H. Leissle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Leissle, North Ave. Both are graduates'of Niagara
Falls High School and Mr. Leissle is a graduate of
Niagara University. A spring wedding is planned.

A BOUQUET of white carnationis was
presented before the altar of the Biessett
Virgin Mary at Sacred Heart Church Saturday
(Aug. 1, 1959) by Miss Marjean
Elaine Andres before her marriage to
Manfred H. Leissle.
The Rev. Francis Gardner officiated
at a double-ring ceremony, uniting the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene G,
Andres, North Ave., and the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Leissle, North Ave.

BASKETS OF white gladioli decorated
the Altar. Miss Angela Dyczkowskl was
organist and soloist*
The bride, given in marriage by her
father, was attired in a gown of white peau
de soie fashioned with short sleeves, a sabrina
neckline of Alencon lace and a fitted,
bodice.
A scalloped half hat, encrusted with seed
pearls, held her tiered veil of French illu-
sion. She carried a cascade bouquet of white
carnations and Stephanotis, centered with a
white orchid. ;
MRS. THOMAS SHAY, matron of honor,
wore a ballerina-length gown of hyacinth
blue silk organza fashioned with a shirred
bodice and full skirt.
She wore a matching headpiece with a
fly-away veil and carried a colonial bouquet
of white roses and yellow carnations.
MISS GAIL ANDRES, maid of honor for
her sister, was similarly attired. The brides .
maids, also wearing similar ensembles, were
Mrs. Ronald Latchford, cousin of the bride
and Miss' Mary Ann Puglla, Buffalo.
Miss Rebecca Hilllard, niece of the bride-
groom, was junior bridesmaid.
John Pltonyak was best man, Ralph
Chille, William Hilliard, nephew of the
bridegroom Ronald Latchford cousin of the
bride, and Thomas Shay seated the wedding
guests.

THE NEW Mrs. Leissle left on a honeymoon
to Cape Cod and the New England
States wearing a royal blue suit with white
accessories and a' corsage of white orchids.
The newlyweds will make their home at
604 W. Onondaga St., Syracuse.
