Miss Helen Eileen Tobin, of Rochester,
N. Y., daughter of the late
Mr. William P. Tobin, of St. Louis,
Mo., became the bride of Edward
P. Argy, of this city, son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Argy,
at a ceremony on Wednesday, April
28, In the Immaculate Conception
church, Rochester.
The bride chose a street-length
frock of navy blue with white eyelet
embroidery collar and. cuffs. A
white mllan hat and navy blue
veil completed her costume. She
carried a white prayer book with
a shower of gardenias.
Miss Ann Freeman, the maid of
honor and only attendant, wore an
afternoon frock of aqua crepe, with
matching hat, and a corsage of orchids.
Dr. John McGrath, of this city,
was the best man and the ushers
were Mr. John D. Roche and Mr.
Donald G. MacKay, also of this
city.
After a wedding breakfast at the
Hotel Rochester, Mr. and Mrs. Argy
left for a trip to New York City.
Upon their return they will reside
In this city. ,
The bride attended Nazareth
academy and is a graduate of St.
Joseph's Hospital of Nursjng in
Elmira. N. Y. Mr. Argy is a gra
duate of the Niagara Falls high
school and Niagara university.
