Mr. and* Mrs. Frederick Semon
of 25 Minerva St. announce the
marriage of their daughter, Marion
H., to William Foster Jr., on
June 17 in Salem Evangelical and
Reformed Church. The Rev. Walter
F. Hetzel officiated.
White flowers and palms decorated
the altar and chancel of the
church for the candlelight ceremony.
Mrs. Evelyn Cary Miller, organist,
accompanied Mickey Sullivan*
who sang "Because" and "The
Lord's Prayer".
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her brother, Howard
Semon, wore a gown of while embroidered
organdy and an illusion
veil trimmed with flowers of appliqued
organdy. She carried a
bouquet of white carnations.
Mrs, Harry Dorn Jr., matron-ofhonor,
wore a gown of green marquisette
and carried a bouquet of
yellow carnations. Miss Foster's'
gown was yellow marquisette and
she carried green carnations.
Raymond Foster attended the
groom as best man and Harry Dorn
Jr. was the usher.
Mrs. Semon and Mrs. Foster,
mothers of the bride and groom,
wore street length print dresses
with white accessories. Both wore
corsages of red roses.
A buffet supper was served In
Labor Hall where a reception for
150 guests was held later.
After their wedding trip Mr. and
Mrs, Foster will be at home in
Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. Howard Semon and Mrs.
Sidney Bodie were hostesses at
showers for the bride.
