A very pretty wedding was
solemnized Saturday. morning at
the St. Francis Rectory when Miss
Luella Edin, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Edin of Koch street
became the bride of Mr. Donald
Sauberan son of Mr. and Mrs.
Clayton Sauberan of Steiner ave-
nue.
The bride was lovely in wood
violet chiffon velvet with the
skirt fitted on long lines. A tiny
veil fell from her velvet turban.
Her sandals were of a contrasting
violet and she carried a shower
bouquet of yellow rosebuds and
purple chrysanthemums.
Miss Leona Andres, cousin of
the bride, was maid of honor. She
was gowned in green chiffon velvet
and carried tea roses and
yellow chrysanthemums.
Mr. Jerome Sauberan, brother
of the groom, acted as best man.
The bride's mother wore black
crepe with a corsage of pink roses
and chrysanthemums. Mrs. Sauberan
appeared in navy blue
crepe with a similar corsage.
After the wedding, a breakfast
was served at May's Hall with
covers laid for fifty guests. The
bride's table, which was placed
under two large wedding bells
was centered with a beautiful
wedding cake.
Mr. La Verne Karkau acted as
toastmaster. Following the breakfast
a reception was held for the
friends of the bride and groom
For going away the bride
wore a dress of brown crepe with
matching accessories. After a
short trip Mr. and Mrs. Sauber-
an will be at home at 220 Fletcher
street.
Among those who entertained
for the bride before her marriage
were: Mrs. Charles Edin,
Mrs. Daniel Phillips, Mrs. Fred
Neuman, Mrs. Williard Henry
Mrs. La Verne Karkau, Mrs.
Harold Sole, Mrs. Joe DeKehe,
Mrs. Lloyd Sauberan, Miss Loret-
ta Redner, and Miss Eleanor Took.
