Mr. and Mrs. Norman R. Bailoy
are on,their wedding trip to Florida,
New Orleans, La., and Tennessee
after their marriage on Saturday
at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist
Church.
The Ray. H. Victor Kane performed
the candlelight ceremony
uniting in matrimony the former
Miss Marilyn Ruth Wetzel and Mr.
Bailey before -the ahar enhanced
with white gladioli and carnations.
Mrs. John Munro sang two wedding
prayers and "At Dawning." Mrs.
Florence T. Smith was organist.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert P. Wetzel, Harper Dr., Lewiston,
the bride was attended by
Miss Eleanor Leis, Lockport, maid
ot honorj'Miss Virginia Cummings,
this city, and Mrs. Larry Dailey.
Wilson, bridesmaids, and Sandra
Ripson, cousin of the bride, flower
girl.
Mr. James Davis was best man
for his brother-in-law, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bailey,--Newfane.
. Guests were seated at the
ceremony by Mr. David Wetzel,
brother of the bride, and Mr. Lloyd
Jones, cousin of the bridegroom.
Carrying the lace handkerchief
also carried by her paternal grandmother,
the late Mrs. Harry Wetzel,
at her wedding, the former
Miss Wetzel was gowned in white
satin, imported lace and tulle. The
illusion neckline of the gown, edged
with lace and iridescent sequins,
was fashioned in an off-the-shoulder
effect. Lace formed an apron effect
on her skirt in cathedral-length
which cascaded from a fitted lace
bodice. A narrow crown of sequins
held her fingertip^length veil of
tulle edged in lace. Red roses and
white violets formed, her floral arrangement.
Miss Leis was clad in a pale
pink lace and tulle floor-length
gown with a fitted bodice featuring
a sweetheart neckline. She wore
a matching small hat with a face
veil and .carried pink carnations
and white violets. Miss Cummings,
similarly attired in yellow, carried
yellow carnations and white violets,
while Mrs. Dailey, in pale
green, carried white carnations and
violets. '
The flower girl, who was gowned
iu yellow tulle in floor-length with
a matching, bonnet, carried mixed
carnations.
More than 225 guests were received
at the reception in' the
church dining room by the mother
of the bride who chose for her
daughter's wedding a pale blue
lace and tulle dress with pink accessories
and a corsage of pink
roses. The mother of the bridegroom
favored a winter white cos-
.tumc with black accessories and a
corsage of red roses'.
For traveling, the bride wore a
pale blue suit and navy blue accessories.
Upon their return Mr. and
Mrs. Bailey will reside in Wilson.
