In the presence of the immediate
families. Miss Ann Elnicki,
dlughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Elnicki of 37 Maple Terrace became
the bride of Cpl. Jacob Balling,
son of Mrs. Magdalene Balling
of 342 Grove street on August
18 at St. Francis of Assissi Church,
The Monsignor Weismantel per-
formed the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of white
dotted swiss which was complemented
with a long train. She
wore a fingertip veil of illusion
with a dutch bonnet effect and
carried a bouquet of white roses,
gardenias, gladioli, and Pinocchio
roses.
Miss Dorothy Prisaznuk was her
only attendant and wore a gown
of pink marquiesette with lace
insets at the shoulders and bodice.
She carried a bouquet of pink
roses, delphiniums, and gladioli.
Henry Balling was his brother's
best man. The bride's mother
chose a dress of black crepe with
matching accessories and wore a
shoulder corsage of pink roses.
The groom's mother wore a print
dress favoring black accessories
with a corsage of roses and delphiniums.
The wedding breakfast and reception
was held at the home of
the bride.
Cpl. Balling has recently returned
from overseas service in
Germany.
