Wearing her mother's
wedding gown of antique
satin. Miss Mary Ann
Ranalli became the bride of
Arthur James Seward, at 12
noon Saturday. The Rev.
Alfred Palma officiated at
the ceremony, performed at
the Christian Assembly in
Syracuse.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Patsy
Ranalli, of 200 Paikin Dr.,
Syracuse. Mr. Seward is the
son of Mr. and Mrs.
Gaylord Bane, 4497 Orchard
PL, Gasport and the late
Arthur James Seward.
The bride was given in
marriage by her father. Her
floor - length gown featured
a full skirt, with long fitted
sleeves and the scalloped
neckline was trimmed with
sequins and pearls. Her
finger-tip veil was held in
place by a Dutch style cap.
She carried a bouquet of
white carnations.
Mrs. Pat Flanigan was
honor attendant for her
sister. The Rose crepe skirt
of her full - length gown
was topped with a whipped
c r e a m white blouse,
trimmed with rose lace and
pink bows.
The bridesmaids, Miss
Georganne Ranalli, cousin
of the bride, Miss Sharon
Facik and Miss Sharon
Peck, all of Syracuse, wore
gowns identical to the honor
attendant.
Richard David Seward
was best man for his
brother. A reception at die
" R o o s t e r West", in
S y r a c u s e , followed the
wedding.
The Bridegroom is a
graduate of Royalton -
Hartland Central School
Both attended the State
University of New York at
Fredonia, where the bride
received a BA in secondary
biology and the groom a BA
in music education. The
groom taught music in
Southampton Public School
on Long Island for one year.
After a wedding trip to
Switzerland, the couple will
live in Fulda, Germany,
where Mr. Seward is
stationed with the 5th Corps
of the 84th Army Band.
