Mr. and Mrs. Bradley L.
Bane are making their home
at Lyndonville, after their
recent wedding. The bride
is the former Ruth Ann
Willis.
The couple took a two
week trip to Canada,
visiting in Toronto, Montreal
and Ottawa. Their
wedding, April 3, was at
L y n d o n v i l l e United
Methodist Church. The Rev.
F. Ray Hazlett officiated.
Multi - color spring baskets
of daisies, rosebuds, carnations,
bachelor buttons
and narcisus decorated the
church.
Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Willis, Bright Waters, Long
Island, are parents of the
bride. The groom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. George W
Bane, 79 Main St., Lyndonville.
For her wedding the bride
chose an A - line dress
created with a fitted bodice,
high neckline and Juliet
sleeves. She added a floor
length veil fastened to a
Juliet cap, and carried a
nosegay of spring flowers.
The cameo pin she wore is
a family heirloom.
Twin sister to the bride,
Mrs. Mary Short of Bergen,
was honor attendant. Her
multi - color peasant dress
was created with a fitted
waist on the floor - length
skirt and contrasted by
a sheer white blouse.
Mrs. Patricia Blanchard
of Lyndonville, sister of the
groom, and Miss Nancy
Regelmann, Itahaca, were
bridesmaids a t t i r e d in
identical outfits to the
matron of honor.
John James, Ithaca, was
best man, and John Willis
of Bright Waters, brother to
the bride, served as usher.
Later in the day, the bride
and groom greeted guests
at a reception and buffet
at DeWitt Clinton Inn,
Holley.
The bride and groom are
graduates of the State
University College at Brockport.
The new Mrs. Bane
t e a c h e s at Lyndonville
Elementary School, and the
groom is a faculty member
at Lockport Senior High
School. The couple is
making their home at the
M c D o n a l d Apartments,
Main Street, Lyndonville.
