The home of Mr. and Mrs.Leo-
nard B. Oakes at Lyndonville was
the scene of an attractive wedding
Thursday afternoon, August 28th
when Mrs. Oake's a sister the for-
mer Miss Ernestine Barry, daughter
of Mr. Frank Barry of Lyndonville,
became the brine of Mr,
Rufus H. Caldwekk of New York
City. Vows were exchanged before
an archway of ferns and pink
gladioli. The Rev. E. P. Gill, pastor
of the Methodist Church, offi-
ciated. Bary Brinsmaid of Lyn-
donviiie played the wedding musk.
Tha bride wore an afternoon
frock of beige crepe with navy
blue accessories and corsage of
roses. She was attended by her
twin sister, Miss Bernadine Barry,
who wore royal blue crepe with
white accessorise and rose corsage.
Bernard Brinsmaid of Buffalo was
best man.
Tha couple left on a trip to Canada
and on their return are to life
in Forrest Hills. L. I.
T h e bride, a graduate of Alfred
University and Strong Memorial
Nursing School in Rochester, was
feted priior to the nuptials at a
linen shower given by Mrs. Mark
Barry and Mrs. Stanley Barry;
bathroom shower by Mrs. Earl
Verbridge of Lyndonville; personal
shower, Mrs. Irving Clark of
Lockport; kitchen shower, Miss
Mary Swan of Olcott.
