Evelyn Louise duToit, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Jean duToit, of
Albuquerque, N. M., whose engagement
is announced to Mr.
Harrison W. Bars, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Bars, of Youngstown,
N. Y. The marriage will take
place In June.

The marriage waa solemnized last
Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in
the Evangelical Lutheran church,
Youngstown, of Mlaa Evelyn Louise
du Toit, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Jean'du Tolt of Albuquerque, N. M.,
and Mr. Harrison W. Bars, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bars of Hlnman
street. Youngstown, by the
Rev. Herbert W. Goers*.
Large baskets of ' flowers, many
with Iris, lilies and roses' were
placed In the chancel and around
the altar. The bride, wearing °
beige suit, Kelly green straw hat
and- brown accessories and a corsage
of deep red roses, was given
In marriage by her uncle, Mr. Harold
8tentaford of Inwood, L. I. She
was attended by her cousin. Miss
Helen Uhl of Inwood, L. I., who wore
a brown suit with pink accessories
and a corsage of pink roses. Mr.
Irwin Broeker of Lewlston, cousin
of the bridegroom was the'best man
and the ushers were Mr. Floyd
Nichols of Niagara Falls and Mr.
Calvin Broeker of Youngstown.
Before and during the ceremony
Mrs. Raymond PearsaU sang "At
Dawning" and "Because" accompanied
by Mr. Cart Demmln, organist,
who also played for the wedding
march. , t
The moVh'er of the* bridegroom
wore an aqua silk mesh frock white
hst and accessories and a corsage
of gardenia* and sweet peas.
Following the ceremony s reception
was held at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Bars and ths refreshments
were served from a lace covered
table bearing the .wedding cake
with four tiers a low bowl of roses
and old ivory tapers. Out of town
guests included Mr. and Mrs. Harold
StenUford. Mrs. Arthur Uhl, Mrs.
Raymond Pearsall and Miss Helen
Uhl all of Inwood. L. I. After a
wedding trip to Cleveland. O., Mr.
and Mrs. Harrison Bars will reside
on Hinman street.
