The marriage of Miss Rita Valery,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Valery, Fairfield avenue, to Mr.
Joaeph Barto, Jr., son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Barto, Tenth street,
was solemnized Saturday at Sacred
Heart church. The Rev. John J.
O'Connor officiated at the ceremony
and Nuptial High Mass.
Miss Dolores Barto and Mr. Paul
Ungaro were the attendants.
Olven In marriage by her father,
the bride wore a white satin brocaded
gown fashioned along Queen
Victoria lines. A crown of satin
and seed pearls held her'fingertip
veil of Illusion. She carried a colonial
bouquet of white roses and
orchids.
After the ceremony, breakfast was
served at the home of the bride's
parents. A dinner was held at the
Alps restaurant. A reception in
honor of the couple was held from
5 to 9 p.m. at the home of the
bride's parents.
For traveling on her wedding trip
the bride wore a black suit with
hunter's green accessories and
orchid corsage.
After a wedding trip, Mr. and
Mrs. Barto will reside in Rochester,
N.Y.. where Mr. Barto is an X-ray
technician at the Rochester Veterans'
clinic.
