YOUNGSTOWN - Miss Sharon Veillette and
G rover Johnson exchanged wedding vows
Saturday (Oct. 28, 1972) in a noon double ring
ceremony at St. Bernard's Church. Msgr. James
Foley officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Joan
Veillette. 999 Balmer Road. Youngstown, and
Norman Veillette, 462 81st St., and Mr. Johnson
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson, 3481
Porter Center Road, Ransomville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride
chose a white organza gown with fittedbodice, Aline
skirt, high neckline and long Juliet sleeves.
Alencon accented the bodice and the hemline of
the skirt and cathedral length train. A pearl and
crystal crown secured her lace-edged mantilla
and she carried a crescent bouquet of Fuji
pompons and blue roses.
MISS CAROLYN ROHRING was maid of
honor. She wore a gown of hot pink crystalette
with A-line skirt, empire waist, long sleeves, and
ruffled hemline. White Venise lace trimmed the
neckline, cuffs and hem. She carried a round
bouquet of baby breath, pompons and miniature -
carnations.
Similarly styled gowns were worn by the
other attendants. Bridesmaid, Miss Sue Johnson,
sister of the bridegroom, was in blue; and junior
bridesmaid Sonda Johnson, also sister of the
bridegroom, was in orchid.
Mike Emo was best man. Roy Johnson,
brother of the bridegroom, and Richard Marshall
were.ushers.
An afternoon reception was held at Lenardo's,
Niagara Falls.
After wedding trip to Washington, D.C., Mr.
and Mrs. Johnson will make their home in
Monroe Avenue, Niagara Falls. The bride is
employed by Moore Business Forms, Inc., and
Mr. Johnson is employed by Harrison Radiator
Division, General Motors Corp., Lockport.
