Miss Mary Elizabeth Fink
and Wade J. Bechtel exchanged
marriage vows
Saturday, at 5 p.m in St.
Bridget's Church, Newfane.
A high nuptial Mass was
performed by the Rev. T.
Louis Langley. Baskets of
white gladioli adorned the
altar for the double - ring
ceremony.
United were the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Francis C.
Fink, 621 West Ave.,
Lockport, and the son of
Mrs. Harley Bechtel, 4618
Lockport Road, Lockport.
Mr. Fink gave his daughter
in marriage.
Miss Ann Fink was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids were
the Misses Coleen Bechtel.
Mary Lou Cuddeback and
Julie Kraatz.
Boyd Bechtel was best
man and Scott Cercone, ring
b e a r e r . Ushering were
Chester Walck, John Fink,
Loren Bechtel. Music was
p r o v i d e d by Donald
Chapman.
For her wedding, the
bride chose a white gown
of organza and venise lace,
created with a Victorian
lace neckline, long tapering
sieeves terminating in lace
cuffs, and A-Iine skirt with
lace appliques extending
from the neck to the
hemline at the centerfront.
Her full sweep chapel
train, trimmed in lace, was
detachable. The bride's
bouffant illusion veil was
held by a venise lace
camelot toque. She carried
a cascade of white mums
and pom pons.
The honor attendant chose
a yellow empire gown of
dotted Swiss with matching
trim, and carried a basket
of roses and daisies.
Bridesmaids, in identical
style dresses, chose apricot,
lilac and aqua hues.
A reception was at
C a m b r i a Community
Center, after which the
couple left on a motor trip
to Washinton, D. C. They
win make their future home
at 866 Lafayette Ave.,
Buffalo.
