White gladioli and chrysanthemums
enhanced the altar of St.
Francis of Assisi Church Jan.
21 for the wedding of Miss Judith
Rose Beckett and Hugh
Richard Henderson.
The Rev. Norman Lux performed
the ceremony for the
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. George H. Beckett and the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh S.
Henderson of 88 Main St., Tonawanda.
Given in marriage by her
uncle, Hyrum Hayes, the bride
wore a gown of antique satin
designed with a circlet neckline
and long sleeves. Alencon lace
accented the Empire waist. A
matching sleeveless coat extended
into a chapel length train.
Her silk illusion veil was caught
to a circles of orange blossoms
and she carried a crescentshaped
bouquet of orchids and
roses.
Miss Mary Jo Berg, maid of
honor, was attired in a shrimp
color crepe sheath styled with a
Grecian draped bodice. A white
fur muff and headpiece adorned
with shrimp color roses completed
her ensemble.
Gerald Brown was best man.
David Beckett, the bride's
brother, and Kenneth Prohn, the
bridegroom's nephew, ushered.
After a trip to Canada, the
couple will make their home in
11 Oliver St., North Tonawanda.
