The marriage of Miss Helen
Singer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs
Lewis Sinner of Wilson to G. Ivan
Boyer, son of Mr and Mrs. Walter
Bover of Olcott. took place at 10
o'clock Thursday marnlng, July
21 at St. Oliver's church in Wilson
The Rev Vincent G McCarthy of-
ciated.
The bride, given In marriage by
her father, wore a gown of white
satin trimmed with laee. Her
finger tip veil was caught to a
halo and her arm bouquet was of
pale pink sweetpeas and candytuft.
Miss Jeannette Hutchings of
Lockport was maid of honor. She
was attired In a gown of aquamarine
blue moussellne de sole.
Her shoulder veil was of pale pink
silk net and she carried a bouquet
of pale and deep pink sweetpeas
and eadytuft.
H Vernon Boyer. twin brother
of the groom, acted as best man.
Mrs. Singer, the bride's mother,
wore a blue flowered silk dress with
accessories to match and a corsage
of sweetpeas. Mrs. Boyer, the
bridegroom's mother wore a whie
linen dress with accessories to
match and a corsage of pink rose-
buds.
A reception and luncheon was
held for 40 guests at the bride's
home immediately following the
ceremony. Out-of-town guests
were present from Buffalo, Lockport
and Rochester
After a trip to northern Ontario
Mr and Mrs Boyer will reside at
Olcott
Pre-nuptial events included a personal
shower bv Mrs Edward
Singer, and a kitchen and bedroom
shower by Mrs John Silk and Mrs
Whitney Woodcock, aunts of the
bride
