- North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 5/1/1962
WED IN CHURCH RUES: Pictured above are Pvt. and
Mrs. David A. Phelps who recently were married in St.
John the Baptist Church, Buffalo. The bride is the former
Patricia Kantor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kantor of
218 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Pvt. Phelps' parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Phelps of 41 Cedar.St., North
Tonawanda. The bride's gown of white organza was enhanced
with bands of lace on the bodice and hemline. She
wore a fingertip veil and carried a white orchid and white
roses. Her attendants were Miss Gilda Roberto, maid of
honor, and Paula Kantor, her sister, as flower girl. Jack
Colatarci served as best man. Mr. and Mrs. Phelps traveled
to Canada for their wedding tour. Pvt. Phelps will leave
soon for an overseas army assignment.
