Miss Lois Avonne Klemer,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
A. Klemer of 7485 Payne
Ave., and John Herbert Brewer,
son of Mrs. Edith C. Brewer of
New York City, were united in
marriage in a ceremony performed
on Saturday, Feb. 12, at
noon in St Matthew's Lutheran
Church. The Rev. Paul Gassman
officiated at the double ring
service.
Jack Emmett sang "Because"
and "Through the Years', accompanied
by Mrs. Sylvia Hutt,
organist
The bride wore a street length
dress of champagne crepe with
matching gloves and a natural
straw hat and carried a bouquet
of green orchids.
Mrs. John Winters of New York
City attended the bride as matron
of honor. She was attired in a
biege crepe dress with matching
hat and carried a nosegay of
pink rosebuds.
John Winters, of New York
City,- attended the bridegroom as
best man and the ushers were,
Robert Stamp of Buffalo and
Gordon Hausmann of Wilson,
cousins of the bride.
The bride's mother chose a
two-tone gray dress with black
accessories and wore a corsage of
mixed spring flowers. The bridegroom's
mother wore a wine crepe
dress with black accessories and
wore a corsage of white gardenias.
Immediately after the wedding
ceremony a wedding dinner
was served in the church 'parlors
for the immediate family. Dinner
music was provided by Miss
Marion Ziehl, violinist and Mrs.
Sylvia Hutt, pianist The table was
centered with a four tier wedding
cake flanked by bowls of white
snapdragons.
A reception was held at the
Red Coach Inn in Niagara Falls,
from 3:30 to 5:30 for approximately
125 guests. Buffet re*
freshments were served.
For her traveling ensemble the
bride chose a biege gabardine suit
with brown accessories. After a
wedding trip to Hamilton and
Toronto, Canada, Mr. and Mrs.
Brewer will be in the Marigold
Inn, at 223 Second Street, Niagara
Falls, N. Y.
