The engagement and approaching
marriage of Miss
Louisa May Wright to Airman
2/c Ronald C. Bellis, U. S. Air
Force, is announced by her
mother, Mrs. Willard Wright of
915 Oakdale Road, Johnson
City.
Airman Bellis is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bellis, 16
Foley Road, Town of Chenango.
The couple will be wed at 2
p. m. Oct. 11 in the Westover
Methodist Church.
The bride-elect, a graduate of
Johnson City High School, is
employed by Endicott Johnson
Corp. Her fiance, who is stationed
in Smokey Hill Air Force
Base, Kans., attended Binghamton
North High School.

attended the reception held
immediately after the ceremony
which solemnized the
vows recited by Miss Louisa
Mae Wright and Airman 2/c
Ronald C. Bellis, U. S. Air
Force, yesterday. The Rev. J.
R. Pennell officiated at the 2
p. m., service in the Westover
Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Willard H. Wright, 915
Oakdale Road, Johnson City,
and the late Mr. Wright. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Herbert Bellis, 16
Foley Road, Broad Acres.
Addison Wright gave his sister
in marriage. She was attired
in a gown of traditional
white satin and lace styled with
a Queen Anne's collar and long
sleeves. The full skirt was
fashioned with panels of lace
which extended into a eathedrallength
train. Her fingertip veil
was attached to a crown of
seed pearls and she carried a
white Bible on which was a
nosegay of white roses.
Miss Alice Wright attended
her sister as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Miss Alzean
Haskins and Mrs. Addison
Wright, sister-in-law of the
bride. Miss Betsy Ross was
junior bridesmaid for her
cousin.
They were attired in satin
gowns of gold, blue, raspberry
and silver, respectively, and
wore matching headpieces. They
carried colonial bouquets of
matching pompons.
Sharon Ketchum was flower
girl.
Lewis Hudy served as best
man. Ushering were John
Wright, brother of the bride,
and La Verne Harvey.
The bride, who is employed
in the office of the Endicott-
Johnson Corp., is a graduate of
Johnson City High School. The
bridegroom attended Binghamton
North High School. He is
stationed at the Smokey Hill
Air Force Base, Kans.
