A very pretty wedding was solemniaed
Tuesday, June 8, at 2 p. m., at
St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran
parsonage, North Ridge, when Rev.
John P. Barkow united In marriage
Miss Evelyn E. Bendt, the youngest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph.
Bendt of the Shadagee road,
Wilson, and Herman Bobzien, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Bobzien of
Butt.
The bride wore a gown of pale
pink georgette, made sleeveless and
hat of white. She carried an arm
bouquet of sunburst roses, baby's
breath and ferns tied with a large
bow of white tulle and pink and
yellow satin ribbon.
Miss Evelyn Hauseman, niece of
the bride was bride's maid. She
wore a canary yellow georgette
frock and a picture hat to match
her gown. Her flowers were pink
roses, sweet peas and ferns tied with
a large bow of pink tulle.
Burt Bobzien, brother of the
bridegroom, was beet man.
A reception followed at the
home of the bride for the immediate
families. The rooms were
decorated with pink and white
crepe paper, white wedding bells
and vases of cut flowers. Covers
were laid for sixteen at the bride's
table, which was earned out In a
color scheme of pink and white.
The bride presented her maid
with a half dozen silver teaspoons.
The groom presented his attendant
with a combination fountain pen
and pencil.
Ouesta were present from Syracuse,
Newfane, Burt, Appleton,
Wilson and the vicinity.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobzien have left
for a two week's motor trip to Boston
and other eastern points. Upon
their return they will reside at
Burt.
