THE MARRIAGE of Miss Sylvia Jean
Hager and Edward J. Stricker Jr. was
solemnized Saturday (June 20, 1964) at the
First Methodist Church, where Rev. Fred
W. House read the nuptial service.
The' bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond D, Hager, 9226 Cayuga Drive, and
the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward J. Stricker Sr., 1212 96th St.
The bride was escorted to the altar by
her father. She wore white silk shantung
with motifs of Alencon lace. Her skirt
terminated in an empire train and she
carried roses and stephanotis.
CARRYLNG CRESCENTS of roses were
the maid of honor, Miss Ann Gulla, and
the bridesmaid, Miss Dana Stricker, sister
of the bridegroom. They were attired in
similar silk organza over taffeta gowns
in contrasting shades of pink and aqua.
Michael Searles was best man. Ushers
were John Sherwood, Jamestown, brotherin-
law of the bride, and Crawford Fortune,
Norfolk, Va.

THE CASCADE LOUNGE was the
scene of the late afternoon reception.
The couple left for a motor trip through
the New England States.
