Miss Mary Elizabeth Eaton,
daughter of Mrs. Eva Eaton of 608
First Street, Liverpool, and the
late Ransford Eaton, was married
to Eugene Francis Howard,, son of
Mr. and Mrs, Miles O. Howard of
Oswego Road, Liverpool, in Liverpool
Methodist Church on Saturday
afternoon, Jan. 24, a t 4 o'clock. The
Rev. Carl C, Swift performed the
ceremony. Miss Dorothy Rounds,
organist, played' a ' program of
nuptial music. Mlss Helen Emerson
sahg, "I Love You Truly" and **Oh
Promise Me."
The bride wore an aqua dress
with brown accessories and had
a bouquet of gardenias. The
matron of honor, Mrs, Francis
Zlnger, sister of the bride, wore
dusty pink with dubonnet accessories
and had a bouquet of Talisman
roses. The bride's mother,
Mrs, Eaton, wore wine color With
a bouquet of tea roses, Mrs.
Howard, mother of the bridegroom,
wore deep orchid with brown ac-
cessories and had a bouquet of ten
roses, Edwin Howard was his
brother's best man. Ushers were
.Norman Powell and Leon Howard,
brother , of the bridegroom.
A reception was given in the
home of the bride's mother for the
bridal party and immediate fam-
ilies. On return from a trip to
Rochester, Buffalo, and Niagara
Falls, the couple is living in Liver-
pool. Out-of-town guests at the
wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Carpenter of Chittenango; Mr. and
Mrs. Claude Gates and daughter of
mexico; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Young
of Waterloo. The bride was grad-
uated from Liverpool High School
in 1937. The bridegroom attended
Split Rock High School and now is
employed by Solvay Process Com-
pany.
