Miss Margaret Lowe, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George F. Lowe of
Akron Road, chose white tulle and
lace for her marriage to Roland W.
Bergquist. son of Mr. and Mrs.
Edwin W. Bergquist of Route 3.
The ceremony was solemnized in
the rectory of St. John's Church
Tuesday by the Rev. Francis Gard-
ner, against a setting of garden
flowers.
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a beaded tiara from
which fell a fingertip veil of tulle
with scalloped edges. Her bridal
gown had a bodice of white lace
with a sweetheart heckline and long
pointed sleeves. A full tulle skirt
extended from the bodice. Her only
jewelry was a double strand of
pearls, gift of the groom. She car-
ried a bouquet of white bride's
roses, snapdragons and baby's
breath tied with white taffeta.
Attendant Wears Gift
The bride's only attendant, Mrs.
Roger J. Rieger, was attired in a
white satin gown with a net over-
sirt. She wore a gold cross and
chain, gift of the bride, and white
flowers in her hair. Her bouquet
was of red roses and white baby's
breath tied with red taffeta.
Mr. Donald C. Bergquist, brother
of the groom, was best man.
The bride's mother was dressed
in navy blue crepe with white ac-
cessories. The groom's mother wore
a pink and blue print dress with
white accessories. Both mothers
wore corsages of mixed flowers.
Reception Held
After the ceremony a reception
was held to about 100 guests at the
home of the bride. The bridal table
seated 14 and was centered with
the wedding cake and the bride's
bouquet.
The couple left for a short trip
to Canada, the bride wearing a
yellow and green print dress with
white carnations. On their return
they will reside at 266 Pine St.
Out-of-town guests were from
Buffalo, Newfane and Hartland.
