The marriage of Miss Arlene M.
Borcbert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs,
Harold J. Borchert of Akron, and
Howard C. Olds, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Willis J. Olds of Lockport,
was solemnised Saturday afternoon.
May 16, at 3 o'clock In St.
John's Lutheran Church, Akron,
The Rev. John Richardson, pastor,
officiated.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was attired la a waitslength
gown of blush-pink Chantilly
lace and nylon net over satin.
She carried a Colonial bouquet
of demure rosebuds.
Mrs. Bruce Kanehl of Lockport,
cousin of the bride, was matron of
honor. She wore an orchid taffeta
waltz-length gown with matching
nylon net stole and carried a Colonial
bouquet of orchid carnations
and shasta daisies.
Willis J. Olds Jr. of Canton, o..
was best man for his brother and
the ushers were Robert Woodburn
of Newfane and Bruce Kanehl.
The church and ball were decorated
with lilacs and snapdragons
Bridal music was provided b y
Mrs. There Brown.
Following a reception in t he
church parish hall, the couple left
for a wedding trip to the South.
They are making their residence
at 5 Wilson Pkwy.. Lockport.
