A street-length white wool dress
with black and white accessories
was worn by Miss Alice M.
Kluinpp. daughter ot Mr. and
Mrs. William Klumpp, West Creek
Road, when she was united in
marriage Thursday morning at 10
o'clock to Pvt. Francis J. Gerling,
U. S. Army, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank GĀ«rling, West Creek Road.
The ceremony was performed in
the rectory of St' Charles' Church,
Olcott, by the Rev. Lawrence J.
Dl Giovanni. The bride's sister,
Miss Esther Klumpp, bridesmaid,
wore a street-length pink crepe
dress with brown accessories. The
bride wore a corsage of yellow
rosebuds and her sister wore pink
roses.
Robert Zimmerman of Buffalo,
a cousin of the groom, was best
man. The mothers of the bride
and groom both wore navy blue.
A wedding dinner was served
shortly after noon at the home of
the bride's parents with covers for
25. Fourteen were seated at the
bride's table which was centered
with a wedding cake and white,
tapers.
Out-of-town guests were present
from Lockport and Buffalo.
Pre-nuptial events in Mrs. Ger-
ling's honor, included: A variety
shower given by Mrs. Charles
Merrill and Miss Hattie Benzene,
Lockport. in Warner's tea loft; a
towel shower by the Women's
Auxiliary to the Olcott Fire Company,
in the home of Mrs. John
B. Shaw, Olcott; and a variety
shower by Mrs. Allan Blair of
Johnson Creek.
