The marriage of Miss Betty M.
Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
William Miller of 113 Ward road,
to Pvt. Robert O. Bilkey .stationed
at the Army Air Base,
Pueblo, Col., which was solemnized
April 17, in the parsonage
of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed
church, the Rev. Theophil
Twente officiating.
The bride wore a floor-.ength
gown of white mousseline de soie
having a lace bodice and a finger
tip veil, also a pearl necklace,
the gift of the groom. Miss June
Bilkey, sister of the groom, was
maid of honor, wearing a gown
of yeilow mousseline de soie with
a lace bodice. Miss Bernice Miller,
the bride's sister, was bridesmaid,
attired in blue mousseline
de soie, also with a lace bodice.
Mr. William Miller, the bride's
brother, acted as best man, and
Mr. Everett Weinheimer, the
groom's cousin, was groomsman.
The bride's mother wore navy
blue rheer, with blue accessories,
and the groom's mother chose
powder blue sheer with lace trimming.
Following the ceremony a wedding
dinner was given at the home
of the bride's parents, where covers
were laid for fourteen at a
table decorated with a wedding
cake, and bouquets of pink and
white carnations. Later, a reception
was held for 75 guests, present
from out of town having been
a number from Buffalo, Lockport,
Depew and Niagara Falls. The
house decorations were In yellow
and blue.
Pvt. Bilkey has returned to his
post in Colorado, and his bride
will make her home with her
oarents.
