Mr. and Mrs. Moore Billings
announce the engagement of their
daughter,-Florence May, to Robert
Ervine of Perry. The wedding
date is not set.

Miss Florence May Billings,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moore
Billings, Jr., of 30 S. Federal St.,
and Pvt. Robert Irvine of Camp
Hood, Texas, were married on
Tuesday afternoon, May 23, at 4
p. m. at the home of the bride's
parents by the Rev. Floyd Fenrien
of the Castile Baptist church.
The bride wore a long blue
dress with blue veil and. carried
white snapdragons and narcissus.
The bridesmaid wore a pink dress
and carried pink and white tulips.
The mother of the bride wore a
blue street dress.
Moore, Billings Jr., brother of
the, bride, was the^ bridegroom's
attendant.
_ Following the expiration of Pvt.
Irvine's leave, Mrs. Irvine will return
to Camp Hood with him.
Prior to his induction, Pvt. Irvine
resided in Perry and was employed
for some time on the W. S.
Sanford farm.
