The marriage of Miss Eleanor
Elizabeth Bistoff, daughter of Mrs.
Louise Bistoff of Cottage street, to
Edward Frank Jones, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Jones of Gasport.
was solemnized Friday evening of
last week at 7 o'clock in Trinity
Lutheran church, the Rev. Herman
Meier performing the ceremony.
The bride, who was given in marriage
by Donald Wagonbauer of
Lockport, was gowned In white
moussellne de sole with a full length
veil caught with pearls. She carried
a colonial bouquet of white roses,
sweetheart roses and gypsophila
tied with white ribbon.
Mrs. Robert Henning, sister of the
bride, was matron of honor and
wore a gown of peach taffeta. She
wore 'white bows in her hair and
carried a colonial bouquet of pink
roses and gypsophila tied with pink.
Miss Helen Bistoff. another sister,
and Mrs. Donald Wagonbauer
were bridesmaids. Miss Bistoff wore
pink taffeta with blue hair bows and
carried peach roses and gypsophila
tied with peach. Mrs. Wagonbauer
wore blue mousseline de sole and
pink hair bows and carried red
roses and gypsophila tied with red.
The bridegroom was attended by
his brother, Arthur Jones Jr., of
Lockport and Robert Henning and
Roger Pratt acted as ushers.
The bride's mother wore a rose
silk dress trlmed with white and
the groom's mother wore a dress of
black and white silk. Both wore corsages
of roses and delphinium.
A reception was held at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jones Jr.,
where the bridal table was centered
with a three-tiered wedding cake.
Covers were laid for 35 relatives and
friends, 12 being seated at the bridal
table.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones left for a
trip to Detroit, the bride wearing a
costume of aqua with white accessories.
Upon their return they will
make their home at 53 Caledonia
street.
Pre-nuptlal entertainments Included
a variety shower given by
Mrs. George Markle; a bedroom
shower by Mrs. Henning; a variety
shower by Mrs. Wagonbauer and a
kitchen shower given by Mrs. Arthur
Jones Sr., and Mrs. Arthur Jones
Jr.
