NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Mr. and Mrs. Robert -W.
Ward, formerly of Cayuga Street, Lewiston, N.Y., announce
the engagement of Mrs. Ward's daughter,
Miss Pauline Mary Parada, to John Francis Blackley,
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Francis Blackley, Springfield,
Ohio, formerly of Aberdeen Road, Lewiston.
Miss Parada is a graduate
of Stella Niagara Seminary,
Lewiston, and attended Rosary
Hill College, Buffalo,
N.Y. She is employed by the
Olin Mathieson Chemical
Corp. in New Haven and
does modeling and television
work in the New Haven
area.
Mr. Blackley, a graduate
of L e w i s t o n-Porter High
School, attended Georgetown
University, Washington,
D.C., and Niagara University,
Niagara Falls, N.Y.
He received his Bachelor
of Law degree from St.
John's University School of
: Law, New York City. A
member of Phi Delta Phi,
national legal fraternity, Mr.
Blackley is an assistant in
trusts with the United
States Bank Examiners.
A spring wedding is planned.

MISS PAULINE MARY PARADA and
John Francis Blackley, both formerly of
Lewiston, returned here to exchange nuptial
vows Saturday (April 11, 1964).
Rev.. Edwin Cuddihy officiated at the
double-ring ceremony at St. Peter's Church,
Lewiston.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Warren Ward of 83 North Lake
Drive, New Haven, Conn., formerly of
Cayuga Street, Lewiston. The bridegroom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. J. Francis Blackley
of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Aberdeen
Road, Lewiston.

THE GRANDFATHER of the bride,
Paul Malecki, gave her in marriage. Her
gown was of imported batiste with accents
of Venice lace and rows of miniature handtucks
on the empire bodice. The lace and
tucks were separated on the sheath skirt.
A crown of Venice lace held her cathedrallength
veil of multi ° tiered silk illusion.
She carried a single long-stemmed fushiashaded
rose.
The bride's sister, Mrs. James A. Renaldo,
was matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mis's Maureen Blackley, Mrs. Myron
Pinizotti and Miss Mary Caroline Powers.
Their gowns were of pink linen and they
carried bouquets of roses and daisies.
James Blackley was best man. Bruce
Hansen, Michael McMorrow and James
Molloy ushered.

THE WEDDING breakfast took place
immediately after the ceremony, and the
reception was held in the afternoon In the
Imperial Room of the Parkway Inn.
The bride's mother was dressed in a
Mediterranean blue crepe sheath and the
bridegroom's mother selected a pink peau
de soie sheath for the wedding.
After a motor trip to Miami, Fla., the
newlyweds will make their home in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
