have announced the engagement
of their daughter. Miss
Susan Anne Bodane,', to Mr.
Dennis C. Thomas. 16 Salmon
Creek Drive. Hilton.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles H. Thomas of Salmon
Creek Drive.-Hilton, New York.
Miss Bodane is a graduate of
Fairport High and is now attend-
ing Monroe Community College
and teaching gymnastics for Duncan
Ververs at Council Rock
School in Brighton. Her fiance is a
graduate of Monroe Community
College wifth a A.A.S. degree in
Electrical Technology,
A candlelight ceremony is planned
for December 29. 1973. a t St.
Michael's by Father John Reif.

In a Candlelight ceremony on
Saturday. December .29, Miss.
Susan 'Anne Bodanel and Denis
C. Thomas exchanged wedding
vows in St. Michael's Church of
Rochester. The Reverend John
Reif officiated at the Christmas
ceremony amidst a starting of Poinsettias,
roses and carnations.
The bride is the daughter'of Mr.
and Mrs. Richard E. Bodane of 75
Harvest Drive. Fairport. Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Thomas of Hilton, NL
Y.are the parental of the bridegroom.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride cose a floor length gown
of white satin and lace. A cap of
pearls and lace held her floor
length veil which was also edged
in lace. She carried a bouquet of
red roses.
Mary Kay Ennis and Dennis
Baxter of Fairport were the
couple's maid of honor and best
man.
The attendants included the
bride's sister-in-law, Kathy
Bodane of Rochester, Karen
Paulsen, Gerri Robertson and Sue
Alfieri, all of Fairport. They wore
empire waisted gowns with dark
green velvet bodice and light green
chiffon sleeves and skirts. Their
bouquets were of red and white
carnations.
In outfits of red velveteen, Amy
Synyard of Marion and Tommy
Prostero of Batavia served as
flower girl and ring bearer.
Ushers were Rich Bodane of
Rochester, brother of the bride,
Danie Velasco of Webster and
Charles Alexander of Hilton.
Followingn the ceremony, a
reception took place at the Midvale
Country Club with music pro-
vided by Len Hawley's Orchestra.
The bride attended Monroe Com-
munity College and is a gym-
nastics instructor at Duncann
Ververis Gymnastic Club at
Council Rock School in Brighton.
Her husband, a graduae of Mon-
roe Community College, is
presently employed as a
electronic engineer at Taylor
Instruments, Inc. in Rochester.
