The marriage of Miss Lois Bolents.
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Bolents, Seventeenth street, to Mr.
George Jowdy, son of Mrs. Sophia
Jowdy, Lockport, was solemnized at
Our Lady of the Rosary church, this
city. The Rev. Michael Harrington
officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given In marriage
by her father. Her gown was fashioned
with a long fitted bodice and
full skirt, ending In a train. The
gown was made of antique ivory
slipper satin and Brussels lace. She
wore a finger tip veil of Illusion held
by a coronet of lyory satin. She carried
a bouquet of white roses.
Miss Dorothy Bolents, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor, and Mr.
Amel Jowdy was his brother's best
man.
Dinner was served for the Immediate
family at Ye Olde tavern
followed by a reception at the home
of the bride's parents.
For traveling the bride wore a,
green suit with brown accessories
and a corsage of white roses. The
couple will reside at 532 Seventh
Street.
