Miss Marie Thompson, daughter
of Mrs. Mary Thompson of Miami,
Fla., and Walter R. Bredlau, son of
Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Bredlau of
Miami were married recently in
St. Matthew's Lutheran church,
Miami. The bride, given in marriage
by her brother, John Thompson,
wore a redingote gown of
white satin, her long veil of tulle
and lace, arranged as a Mary
Queen of Scots cap. She carried a
bridal bouquet of white roses.
Miss Carole Thompson, maid of
honor wore turquoise marquisette
with hat to match and carried
talisman roses. Miss Ina Bredlau,
sister of the groom was bridesmaid
wearing a gown of acquamarine
sheer and she carried a colonial
bouquet. Howard Bredlau, brother
of the: groom was best man, Albert
Vollrath of Miami was
groomsman and the ushers were
John Kunde and Norman Kellermann
of Miami. A reception followed
the ceremony. In the church
parish house, and later, the couple
left for a wedding, trip to North
Carolina.
Both the groom and his brother
Howard, were born to North Tonawanda
and have many local
friends.
