The marriage of Miss Doris Eleanor
Britton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank H. Britton, to Bedford Stewart
Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Stewart Smith, was solemnized at 12
o'clock on Monday, August 7th, in
Trinity Chapel, the Rev. William T.
Heath officiating.
The bride, who was given in marriage
by her father, wore a light
brown ensemble of satin and crepe
with a turban to match. She wore
a corsage of Johanna Hill roses and
lilies of the valley. Miss Mildred
Louise Fieldus was her cousin's only
attendant, and wore a gown of navy
blue crepe with gray accessories. She
also wore a corsage of talisman
roses and blue delphinium. Kenneth
Oliver Smith, attended his brother.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was served at the Hotel
Statler. After a trip to Chicago,
Ill., and the West, Mr. and Mrs.
Smith will make their home here.
