Mr. and Mrs. Josef Katzenberger,
20 Ironton St., announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Katharina, to Richard W. Brock,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brock
of 884 Walck Rd. The wedding will
take plsce July 17 in Ascension
Church.

The altar of Ascension Church was decorated with
white flowers when Miss Katherine Fielder became the
bride of Richard W. Brock July 17. The Rev. Francis J.
Hunt performed the double ring ceremony that united in
marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Katzenberger,
20 Ironton St., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Brock, 884 Walck Rd.
Given in marriage by her fath-
er, the bride wore a floor-length
gown of rose-point lace over
bridal satin and net with long
sleeves and a row of tiny buttons
reaching from the neck down to
the waist. Her fingertip veil was
caught to a Juliet cap of seed
pearls and rose point lace. She
carried a bouquet of white roses
and carnations.
3 Bridesmaids
. Miss Veronica Katzenberger,
who attended her sister as maid
of honored, was attired in a light
pink gown fashioned similarly to
the bride's. Mrs Ray A. Brock,
Miss Lorie Harter and Miss Ann
Frauenhofer, the latter two from
Boston, attended as bridesmaids
and were dressed in light blue
gowns identical to that of the maid
of honor. They carried colonial
bouquets ot sweetheart roses and
carnations.'
Attending his brother as best
man was Ray A. Brock with Joseph
Katzenberger, Duane Kuhn
and John Albert as ushers.
Both Mrs. Katzenberger, mother
of the bride, and the bridegroom's
mother, Mrs. Brock, selected navy
blue costumes with white accessories.
Each wore a corsage of
yellow roses.
Dinner for Families
Double wedding rings inserted
in the hearts of tiny yellow flowers
decorated the table in the Amercan
Legion home where a dinner
was given for the immediate
families. Later a reception for 200
guests, including many from Rochester,
Pittsfield, Punxsutawney
and Pittsburgh, Pa., Arlington,
Va., Collingwood and St Catharines,
Ont., and Baltimore, Md
was given in the Legion hall.
Earlier in the day the bride's family
was host to the immediate
family and members of the bridal
party for a wedding breakfast in
the home.
Traveling, the bride chose a pale
blue and white print dress with
matching jacket and white accessories,
Mr. and Mrs. Brock are
now at home in 20 Ironton St. after
a wedding trip to the Thousand
Islands.
Pre-nuptial parties for the
bride were given by Miss Veronica
Katzenberger, Mrs. Hazel Brock,
Mrs. C. Barraclough, Mrs. B. Le-
Carmellita Anastasi entertained at
a rehearsal party in the bride's
home on the eve of the wedding
