St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, was the
setting for the wedding of Miss Marion Mabel Wolter
to Ronald James Szmak at 2 Saturday afternoon.
The marriage was solemnized
by the Rev. Hilbert Huth, Wolcottsville,
before the altar adorned
with two vases of pink gladioli
and white pompons, palms and
candelabra.
The bride la the daughter of
Millard Wolter, Akron and Mrs
Mabel Wolter, Wilson.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride's gown over satin
featured a lace bodice with sa
brina neckline, long sleeves but
toned at the wrists, aad a skirt
of crystal pleated ruffles, with
panels Of lace at the front, fall
tag to a chapel-length train at the
back.
RUFFLED LACE CROWN
Her fingertip veil of illusion
edged with chantilly lace, was
caught to a ruffled lace crown.
Dted with orange blossoms
carried a cascade bouquet of
e pompons, centered with a
removable corsage of white roses
Mrs. Shirley Roberts, Lockport
waa matron of honor. She wore a
floor-length gown of shrimp nylon
with matching Jacket. A
headband of braid, en
with pearls, and face veil
completed her attire. She carried
colonial bouquet of white car
tions and roses.
The groom's sister, Miss Betty
Middleport. was bridesmaid.
Her floor-length mint green
gown was complemented by
matching braid headband with
pearls and face veil. Her colonial
bouquet was of yellow carnations
and yellow roses.
GROOMS ATTENDANTS
Acting as best man was Ernest
Zmak, Middleport, brother of the
groom. Ushering duties were performed
by Donald Wolters, Medina,
brother of the bride.
The wedding music was played
by Miss Shirley Klutts, Middleport.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Wolter chose a powder blue
acetate nylon lace dress, blue ac
cessories and a pale pink camellia
corsage. The groom's mother favored
an acetate cotton beige
dress with Jacket, and a yellow
rose corsage. Mrs. Clarence Waterstreet,
grandmother of the
bride, chose a pale pink camellia
corsage to complement her attire.
A reception was held in the Gasport
Fire Hall. The bride's table
was centered with a four-tiered
wedding cake flanked by vases of
white gladioli and pompons.
For traveling, the bride chose a
gray suit, black accessories and
a white rose corsage. On their return,
they will reside on the Flsk
Road, Akron,
The bride was graduated from
Akron Central School. The groom
attended Royalton-Hartland Central
School.
