Coroner James W. Heary has
ruled the death of Frederick Stratton,
45, who died today at his home,
957 Ontario avenue, was caused by
a heart attack. Mr. Stratton was
stricken before 5:45 a.m. snd was
pronounced dead by Dr. A. L. Bax
after firemen worked 25 minutes in
an attempt to revive him.
A veteran of two years overseas
army service during World War 2,
Mr. Stratton was employed in the
production department of the Chis-
holm Ryder company. Before World
War 2, he was employed for 20
years by the International Paper
company.
Mr. Stratton is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Beatrice Stratton; his
mother, Mn. Olive Robinson, and
a brother, Roger Stratton, all of
this city, and his grandmother, Mrs.
Ellen' Hargraves, Maiden, Mast.,
where he was born.
Funeral services will be held
Tuesday from his mother's residence,
182 Sixty-eighth street. The Rev.
Chester Beebe will officiate. Burial
will, be in Riverdale cemetery.
