OLCOTT, May 9-Calla lilies,
candles and pink and white cherry
blossoms were arranged attractively
in St. Andrew's Intercommunity
church, Burt, for the ceremony performed
by the Rev. David L, Leach
Saturday at 4 o'clock, uniting in
marriage Miss Pauline W. Gooding
and Pvt. Wesley F. Wright, Jr.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. W. F. Faber Gooding and
the bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Wesley F. Wright.
Miss Annette Baker, maid of
honor, and Mrs. Richard Cook, Burt,
bridesmaids, wore organdy gowns of
blue and pink respectively, with portrait
necklines and matching organdy
halos. They carried blue iris and pink
sweet peas. Roger Horanburg. Burt,
was best man and Richard Rutland,
Jr., served as usher.
Mrs. J. Kenneth Bush, organist,
played the wedding music and Maurice
Sullivan was soloist.
Mrs. Gooding, mother of the bride,
wore a brown dress with white accessories
and a violet corsage. The
bridegroom's mother chose a navy
dress with white accessories and a
gardenia corsage.
A reception for 200 guests followed
the ceremony' at the church.
The refreshment table, decorated
with pink carnations and white snapdragons,
was centered with the wedding
cake, topper with white gardenias,
and silver candelabra with
white candles.
For traveling, the bride chose, a
brown suit with pink accessories and
a gardenia corsage. The bridegroom
is stationed at Ft. Dix, N. J.,,where
he is attending radio'school.
