Miss Joan Marie Wroblewskl,
daughter of Mr, and Mrs,
Mathew J. Wroblewski, Seneca
Ave and Sgt;-Richard P.
Thomas, U. S. Marines, son of
Mrs. Arthur Thomas, Ontario
Ave., were united in marriage
this morning (Aug. 4, 1956) at
10 o'clock at the Holy Trinity
Church. The Rev. Vincent Cyman
officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Wearing a floor-length lace and
satin gown with a Sabrina neckline
and a fitted bodice topping
° full skirt with a tulle flounce,
the bride .was given in marriage
by her father." A double illusion
scalloped veil fell, from a queen's
crown, and she carried a cascade
bouquet of white roses and ivy.
Miss Barbara. Thomas, the
bridegroom's sister, was maid of
honor. She wore a ballerinalength
gown of shrimp crystalette
with, a full pleated skirt and a
fitted bodice with a matching
jacket. She wore a flowered-hat
and carried a cascade bouquet
'of roses.
Similarly attired in turquoise
dresses were Miss Rose Marie
Kopacz, Mrs. Ross Molinaro,
Mrs. Lawrence Quigliano, and
Miss Marty Sullivan, bridesmaids.
Judy Thomas and Judy Wroblewski,
the bride's sister, were
flower girls. They carried cascade
bouquets of dark pink
roses.
William Crotty was best man,
and Lawrence Quigliano, Daniel
Wroblewski, Gordon Sandstrom
and Watson MacAllistar were
the ushers.
A wedding breakfast was held
following the ceremony and a
dinner reception will be held In
Lower Trinity Hall.
For the occasion the bride's
mother favored a blue lace sheath
dress with a sabrina neckline,
while the bridegroom's mother
choose a mauve organza dress
with a pleated boat shaped neck.
For their wedding trip through
the New England states, the lbride
will wear a beige, sheath dress
with coffee-colored accessories
and a rose corsage.
After their trip, Sgt, Thomas
will complete twe months service
with the Marine Corps in
Cherry Point, N. C,
