Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Heppler
of 138 Belling Place announce the
marriage of Mrs. Heppler's sister,
Miss Myra G. Zappendorf, to
Jamas Soos, sen of Mrs. Rose Soos
at 5 p.m. on April 29 in St. Paul's
Lutheran Church. The Rev. F. A.
Hinners officiated.
Attending the couple were Miss
Laura South, maid of honor, an d
Elton Zappendorf, brother of the
bride, best man.
The bride wore a long white
gown of ninon fashioned with off-
the-shoulder neckline and hoop-
ed skirt. She wore lace mitts and
a sweetheart shaped hat of net.
Her corsage was of white roses.
Miss Smith's gown was of blue
taffeta with sweetheart neckline
and gathered skirt with a bustle.
She wore a hat and mitts to
match her gown and a corsage of
yellow roses.
The bride's sister chose a Navy
bllue suit and wore a corsage of
yellow and white carnations. Mrs.
Soos, mother of the groom, was
attired in a black dress and wore
a coursage of red roses and car-
nations.
After a'wedding dinner, in the
Whirlpool restaurant in '"Niagara
Falls a reception was held in
Ukrainian Hall. The bride's table
was decorated with a wedding
cake, flanked by tall white tap-
ers, and silver bowls filled with
American Beauty roses.
After a wedding trip to Syracuse.
Mr. and Mrs. Soos are at
home in 62 Spruce St.
Prenuptial parties for the bride
were given by Mrs. Ellsworth
Heppler, Mrs. Chester Dexheimer,
Mrs. Alvin Bennke, Mrs. Myran
Behnke, Miss Laura Smith; girls
of the Remington. Rand third
floor at a dinner party in Town
Casino, Buffalo.
Wedding guests included Mr
and Mrs. C. J. Behnke of Erie;
Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Krisheck, and
sons, Gordon and Neil Kresheck
of Columbus, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs.
K. Houston of Shepard, Tenn. and
others from Lockport, Ebenezer
and Niagara Falls.
Decorating the bride's cake was
the ornament used on the wedding
cake of her grandmother, Mrs.
William Behnke, and by other
children and grandchildren in the
family.
