announces the engagement of her
daughter, Helen Irene Achterberg,
to Michael Henry Hare, of 90 Harriet
street, Tonawanda.

Sigenbaum of 176 Young
street to Michael Hare of 50
Harriet street was solemnized
Saturday morning at 10 o'clock In
St. Francis church, the Rev. John
A. Weismantel officiating. The
church decorations were garden
flowers.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her brother, William
Achterberg, wore a gown of blue
mousselino de sole, with a finger-
tip veil, and her shower bouquet
was of roses and gypsophila. Mist
Dolores Brick was maid of honor,
wearing a gown of blue marquisette
with trimming of dubonnet,
and she carried a colonial bouquet,
Mr. Andrew Hare attended his
brother as best man.
Following the ceremony, a
wedding breakfast for the bridal
party was given at the Cataract
House, Niagara Falls and the outof-
town guests were entertained
at the homo of the bride's mother,
where there was also a reception
given for 150 guests in the
afternoon. The house was beautifully
decorated throughout with
summer flowers.
Mr. and Mrs. Hare have left for
a wedding trip to Washington,
D.C., the World's. Fair in New
York City, and the New England
states, and will be at home after
August 1 in 176 Young street.
