Mrs. Mary, wife of John Williams died
Sunday Morning, May 1st,. aged thirty-eight years.
Mary Zeiger-Williams was bonn in La-
Salle, and has always been a resident of this
town, and a greater portion of her life of
this village. In 1872 she was married to Mr.
J. Williams, and has proven an affectionate
wife and loving mother. For the past two or
three years she has been suffering from ill
health, but her health was improving and
her ultimate recovery was believed certain.
Saturday she was about her accustomed duties
and retired at her usual hour with the
remark that she had not felt better in a long
time. Sunday morning about six o'clock
Mr. Williams observed that.her breathing
was somewhat labored, but thinking her
asleep did not attempt to arouse her. One
hour later he again awoke to find that she
had passed away without a struggle. The
physicians pronounce the immediate cause
of her'death a difficulty with the heart caused
by her disease. Her life has always been
one worthy of emultation, and she leaves to
sincerely mourn her loss a husband, son and
daughter, father and mother, three brothers
and four sisters besides a host of friends.
The funeral will be observed from St. Peter's
Church this afternoon.
