Frank White Dies
MIDDLEPORT-Frank P. White, 54, of 1 Freeman
Ave., the Town of Royalton superintendent of
highways, died after suffering an apparent heart
attack Saturday (June 24, 1967).
in the Town of Hartland,
son of Thomas F. and Carrie
Zent White.
He was stricken ill at home
and died in a physician's office.
Mr. White was a member of
St. Stephen's Church and the
Holy Name Society of the
church. He was a member of
Clute-Phillips Post 938 American
Legion and served for four
years in World War II, most of
the time in the Aleution Islands.
He served as superintendent
of public works of the Village
of Middleport for 15 years and
has been Town of Royalton superintendent
of highways for
the last four years.
Mr. White was vice president
of the Niagara County As-
sociation of Town Superinten-
dents of Highways.
Surviving are his widow,
Mrs. Clarice Folger White; two
sons, Thomas F. White and
Frederick F. McDonald, both
at home; four sisters, Mrs.
Donald Bixler, Mrs. William
Holahan, both of Middleport,
Mrs. Roger Schiffert of Lock-
port and Mrs. Robert Silsby of
Kenmore, and several nieces
and nephews.
Friends may call today and
Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and
7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
Heath Funeral Home Inc., State
Street, where services will be
held at 9 a.m. Wednesday and
9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's
Church. The Rev. Daniel Dug
gan will officiate and burial
will be in St. Stephen's Ceme
tery.
